AI for small business

It gets tuned by working with you.

What you buy off the shelf was made for everybody, so it sounds like everybody. What makes it yours is the back and forth.

AI should be a tool for everyone, not just the big firms.

I run a small business too, and I think businesses our size have the most to gain. You’re close to every customer and every job, so when something gives you an evening back, you feel it that week. The way in is one small thing at a time, chosen on purpose.

small places to start

Start small. Pick one.

The aim is a few things off your plate, done the way you would have done them. None of these is a big project, and with each one you can tell for yourself whether it’s helping.

One sitting, at your desk.

learn it

We sit down together and set AI up on your own account, taught your business: what you sell, who you serve, how you like to say things. You use it on real work before we’re done.

How work moves through your business.

your week

A customer asks. You quote. You do the job. You get paid. Somewhere along that path things get lost, get written down twice, or sit waiting on you. We walk it together, find the spot that costs you the most, and fix that one first.

An assistant that sounds like you.

your voice

An AI helper set up to write the way your business talks: your words, your tone, the things you’d never say. It drafts the replies, the quotes and the posts. You read them and send them.

A website refresh, and a brand that matches.

your look

A refresh, not a rebuild. Your site brought up to date, and your colors, your words and your photos lined up, so the site, the card and the posts all look like the same business.

Read it before you sign it.

your paperwork

A contract, a lease, a vendor quote, a renewal. You get a plain read of what it says, with the page each answer came from, and a note on anything it couldn’t make out.

Something else.

yours

Tell me the part of your week you’d hand off if you could, and we’ll see what fits.

how it becomes yours

I set something up, you use it on real work, you tell me what’s off, and I adjust it.

Collaboration, done with curiosity and an open mind keeps showing the best results.

A few rounds of that and it fits how your business runs and how it talks. If something isn’t helping, we change it or drop it.

what stays yours

It stays your business.

  • Your accounts. Everything is set up in accounts you own. If we stop working together, all of it keeps working.
  • Your voice. Your customers should hear you. If it doesn’t sound like you, it isn’t finished.
  • Your call. Anything that goes to a customer or spends your money waits for your yes.
  • A straight answer. Sometimes AI is the wrong tool, and a better form or a simple list does the job. When that’s true, I’ll say so.

keeping up

You’ll understand what you’re using.

As we go, I show you how each piece works and why, in plain terms, so you can keep going on your own and know what to ask when something new comes along.

You don’t have to chase every new tool, either. Keeping up with what’s out there and what’s coming is part of my job. When something is worth your time, I’ll tell you.

who’s writing

Who’s writing this

I’m Chad Wallace. I spent twenty-two years on the operating side of construction, manufacturing and distribution before I taught myself to build. My own business runs on tools like these.

I’m in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Close by, I’ll come to you. Farther off, we work on a call with your screen shared.

Write me a few lines.

Tell me what your business does, and the one part of the week you’d hand off if you could. I’ll write back, and we’ll find a small place to start.
